Happy Valentines Day Honey!

Happy Valentines Day everyone!  Today is one of our most popular holidays, inspired by a flurry of cards and gift giving to those we love.  Are you doing anything today to celebrate with someone special? This week I have been sharing several cards I have made hopefully to help inspire you to make your own handmade card to give.  This one I made for my husband so I decided to wait until today to share it so I wouldn't spoil the surprise.
I started this card with a 6" X 6" base using kraft cardstock.  Next I layered it with black cardstock.  The patterned paper I used for this card is  a 6 X 6 pad from The Paper Studio I purchased recently  at Hobby Lobby.  I did a little distressing around the edged of the pattered paper.
The hearts are again from the dimensional elements hearts from CTMH which you can find here.  These hearts also coordinate with the Art Philosophy Cartridge.  So I cut the images from this cartridge using paper from this pad and then adhered them to the hearts.  I really like using these hearts to give my projects added dimension.  I poked a small hole on each side of the hearts using my peircing tool and then threaded some red and white twine through to connect them together.  I added a button on each end and tied a bow to the ends.  The red letters are from Thickers.
The inside sentiment is from Stampabilities using black ink.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful day!
